Stormdrain pipelines serve specific watersheds called Drainage Areas. Within each Drainage Area, there is a network of stormdrain pipelines that move the storm and nuisance water to a ponding basin or waterway. Each pipeline is drawn in the general direction of flow.
This Feature Class participates in the “Facilities” Topology, where it shares common coordinates with Existing Inlets. A Topology is a collection of rules that, when coupled with a set of editing tools, enables GIS to more accurately represent geometric relationships.
This Feature Class is stored within a Geodatabase (stores a collection of geographic datasets) which is housed on the Districts GIS server.
In addition to storing the coordinates of Existing Pipes, this Feature Class also stores “Attribute” information related to the Master Planning and maintenance of the Existing Pipe Feature Class.

",
