Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 48 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Stormdrain pipelines serve specific watersheds called Drainage Areas. Within each Drainage Area, there is a network of stormdrain pipelines that move the storm and nuisance water to a ponding basin or waterway. </SPAN></SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>Each pipeline is drawn in the general direction of flow.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;margin:0 48 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Approved Design Facilities are Facilities that have been approved for construction, but either have not yet been finalized, or have not been “As-Built”. These Facilities will typically stay on the Design Pipe layer until signed “As-Built” or “Record” drawings have been received. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;margin:0 48 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Once the Design Facilities are constructed, and “As-Built” or “Record” plans have been received, these facilities will be removed from the Design Pipe Feature Class and posted to the “Existing_Pipe” Feature Class.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;margin:0 48 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>This Feature Class participates in the “Facilities” Topology, where it shares common coordinates with Design Inlets. A Topology is a collection of rules that, when coupled with a set of editing tools, enables GIS to more accurately represent geometric relationships.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;margin:0 48 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>This Feature Class is stored within a Geodatabase (stores a collection of geographic datasets) which is housed on the Districts GIS server.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;margin:0 48 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>In addition to storing the coordinates of Design Pipes, this Feature Class also stores “Attribute” information related to the Master Planning and maintenance of the </SPAN></SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>Design Pipe </SPAN></SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>Feature Class.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P /></DIV></DIV></DIV>
